Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed contract negotiations are underway with Sanchez and Mesut Ozil whose current deals expire in 2018
Alexis Sanchez will be offered a two year contract extension to keep him at Arsenaluntil 2020.
Arsenal forward Sanchez wants around £200,000-a-week which would make him one of the top earners in the Premier League.
They are understood to be confident that Ozil – the club’s current top earner on around a basic of £140,000-a-week – will commit himself to a new contract extension.
Ozil’s add-ons can take him up to around £200,000-a-week and Arsenal are hopeful of reaching an agreement which would make the German superstar the club’s biggest ever earner.

Arsenal are confident Ozil will put pen to paper
But there are greater concerns about Sanchez who wants to be on around the same level and is believed to want a buy-out clause as well.
Wenger has moved Sanchez through the middle this season and believes he is happier after a frustrating second year at the club through injury and a lack of form.
But it remains to be seen whether Sanchez will put pen to paper and it may also depend on whether any other big European clubs come in for him.
Arsenal splashed out £90m in the summer and their wage bill has also soared with the club determined to run well within their budget limitations.
