‘Madden 17′ Gamer Makes LeBron James Browns’ Quarterback Following RGIII Injury

Ever since LeBron James signed with the Cleveland Browns in acommercial during his first stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the folks in The Land have always wondered if The Chosen One could save their football team the way he rescued the hoops franchise.

If Madden 17 is any indication, he could.

Cleveland starting quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered a serious shoulder injury in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles and has been placed on injured reserve. With the Browns needing a new quarterback, one gamer came up with a solution.

LeBron. James.

The Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary product was a terrific receiver in high school, and many believe that the 6'8", 250-pound NBA star would make a great tight end in the NFL. But given the Browns' never-ending need at quarterback, the gamer plugged James in under center, which makes sense, given the Cavs star's great passing skills on the court.

Based off the simulation, James really could be the answer the Browns have been looking for over the past decade-plus. It would just crush Cleveland fans if he ever decided to leave the Browns for his beloved Dallas Cowboys…or the Miami Dolphins.
