Should This Woman Go to Jail for Body Shaming Another Woman?

A former Playboy Playmate of the Year could face jail time after she body shamed another woman who was changing in a gym locker room.

ICYMI: In July, Dani Mathers Snapchatted a photo of herself looking horrified next to a naked woman at an L.A. Fitness with the caption, “If I can’t unsee this, then you can’t either.” People immediately called Dani out for her mean-girl move, and she was fired from her job as a radio host. She was also banned from all L.A. Fitness gyms, reports TMZ.

According to People, Dani later posted an apology video on Snapchat. "That was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do," she said. "I know that body shaming is wrong. That is not the type of person I am."

Now, police have tracked down the woman Dani body-shamed—who is in her seventies—and she's allegedly cooperating with police to bring charges against Dani. TMZ says authorities are recommending that Dani be prosecuted for the “dissemination of private images,” which can come with a sentence of up to six months in jail.

BTW: Sources tell TMZ that police want to make an example out of Dani to show that not only is it super-lame to publicly body shame others, it’s actually against the law in some cases.
